A Note On the Photos

In June 2007, we upgraded to our very first single-lens reflex (SLR) camera — a Nikon D80.  This is the latest in a long line of photographic equipment whose creations we have featured on these pages.

  • Canon PowerShot SD450: Craig took this pocket-size digital camera with him to Iraq in 2006
  • Nikon CoolPix 8800: we purchased this high-end digital camera in early 2005
  • Canon Optura 40: our digital camcorder doubled as a still camera during our 2005 trip to Greece & Turkey
  • Nikon CoolPix 990: purchased in 2001, our first digital camera had an unusual swiveling lens apparatus

By the way, the photos on this website have typically been compressed from their original size to speed download times.  If you see one you like, feel free to contact us for the original.
